We have been at the forefront as the local lead collaborator in the understanding of and development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Uganda and Kampala in particular. Together with Swisscontact and supported by University of St. Gallen and Makerere Business School, we piloted the use of Social Network Analysis to understand the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem of Uganda with sponsorship from Credit Suisse. This work continued as Action Research. Funded by the Argolus Foundation and Credit Suisse, we developed four tools to support ecosystem building. Amarin’s MD is currently collaborating with the Innovative Rural Development Corporation to create a platform that supports Ecosystem Actors with tools to build the invisible infrastructure of their ecosystems.
